Wildwood community market + deli

In my Copywriting For Advertising course, we were tasked with a semester-long project focusing on one local business. My partner and I created a campaign for Wildwood Community Market with print ads, a brand story with a brand voice and tone, and headlines. Below are my main creative contributions.

Brand Story

What are we? A friendly neighborhood market providing healthy alternatives to everyone who comes in. We offer a wide selection of freshly made deli sandwiches, sides, and soups that will leave you awestruck. Our flavors come directly from our community, as we aim to shop as locally as possible in every way. We also carry a wide variety of unique and intriguing beverages and snacks.

Who are we? Wildwood was originally made by one family for families. Our owner, Joe, has a love for cooking, music, and the beautiful area of Boone. His wife, Bryony, owns Bluebird Exchange, serving the community by offering unique children’s consignment options. Our entire team is here to serve you, the community, and anyone who walks through our doors.

Brand Voice & Tone

We differ from Earth Fare in that we are not only local but are run by a family and made by the community, for the community. This allows Wildwood’s voice and tone to be more casual, inviting, and comforting, while remaining silly and kind. We don’t stray away from having a little fun with our word choices.

By having this established “chill” voice, we have allowed ourselves to have fun and create an environment that people want to go to, regardless of the day or time. Consumers feel like they can be exactly who they are at any time in Wildwood and can feel like they are a part of the Wildwood story.
